Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ernesto Romanese got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ernesto Romanese dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fedele Genovese, 1-0. Attilio Ciccarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Passerini in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Sasso Marconi's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Di Paola came free, but Attilio Ciccarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sasso Marconi's Ernesto Romanese got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 minutes, Emanuele Passerini made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sasso Marconi's Attilio Ciccarelli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuele Passerini in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Ciccarelli saved Sasso Marconi from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elia Astolfi got free with Fedele Genovese in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristoforo Sisti's late challenge caught a Formigosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristoforo Sisti helped the player get up and apologised. Attilio Ciccarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Di Paola's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Elia Astolfi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fedele Genovese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Emanuele Passerini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Ciccarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Formigosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Romanese came free, but Fedele Genovese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Elia Astolfi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sasso Marconi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elia Astolfi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 32nd minute when Ernesto Romanese elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alberto Di Paola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Attilio Ciccarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Di Paola's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Passerini in the 44th minute of play forced Sasso Marconi's goalkeeper Attilio Ciccarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Sisti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Sasso Marconi's Ernesto Romanese sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fedele Genovese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Alberto Di Paola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Ciccarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute of the match, Emanuele Passerini tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Attilio Ciccarelli saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Formigosa FC booed when Sasso Marconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristoforo Sisti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Elia Astolfi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedele Genovese. Formigosa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elia Astolfi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Ernesto Romanese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Di Paola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Di Paola who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Attilio Ciccarelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Emanuele Passerini blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Attilio Ciccarelli having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Passerini in the 74th minute of play forced Sasso Marconi's goalkeeper Attilio Ciccarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ennio Simeoni's late challenge caught a Formigosa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennio Simeoni helped the player get up and apologised. After 75 played minutes Sasso Marconi got a freekick which was hit by Ennio Simeoni. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Di Paola got free with Attilio Ciccarelli in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th match minute, Sasso Marconi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristoforo Sisti to maneuver through the defense.
