Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fabiano Macchione kicked off to start the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Carmine Conforti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monte Grande's Eugenio Di Muzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eugenio Di Muzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmine Conforti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Macchione in the 18th minute of play forced Monte Grande's goalkeeper Eugenio Di Muzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Fausto Petrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Grande's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bettola FC the free kick. A collision led to Monte Grande getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fausto Petrini hit a great ball. Fabiano Macchione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eugenio Di Muzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Alessio Sorrentino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Gentili skillfully saved the ball. Diego Gentili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Santucci in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of Monte Grande booed when Bettola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego De Francesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cosimo Nelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Petrini hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Macchione in the 39th minute of play forced Monte Grande's goalkeeper Eugenio Di Muzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabiano Macchione fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Di Muzio having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugenio Santucci to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Bettola FC booed when Monte Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Petrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Carmine Conforti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Fabiano Macchione tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugenio Di Muzio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 61st minute, Cosimo Nelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Macchione kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eugenio Di Muzio. That made the score 0-1 in the 63 minute of play. When Armando Manzoli fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Grande's protests and gave Armando Manzoli a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Monte Grande got a freekick which was hit by Armando Manzoli. Fabiano Macchione received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eugenio Di Muzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosimo Riva kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Cosimo Nelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bettola FC's Diego Gentili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carmine Conforti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Di Muzio having to make a save. Carmine Conforti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Di Muzio having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Monte Grande's Eugenio Santucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Gentili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Monte Grande's Cosimo Nelli made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Gentili was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bettola FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
