When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Concetto Labate put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Comunardo Bulla. If Arrigo Raniolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roncadella's Armando Pagliarini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domenico Tana in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Arrigo Raniolo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Armando Pagliarini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Tana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Concetto Labate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Comunardo Bulla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Farina kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Marano's Comunardo Bulla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Labate in the 36th minute of play. Fabiano Giannantonio charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano Giannantonio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Roncadella's Fabiano Giannantonio got a free kick in the 41st minute. Domenico Tana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Bontempi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Domenico Tana made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Bontempi in the 56th minute of play forced Marano's goalkeeper Comunardo Bulla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domenico Tana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Pagliarini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenico Tana, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Concetto Labate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Comunardo Bulla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Comunardo Bulla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Bontempi, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of Roncadella booed when Marano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Michelini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Pagliarini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Raniolo in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Aldo Bontempi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Aldo Bontempi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Comunardo Bulla to make any attempt to save it. Aldo Bontempi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Pagliarini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Doris, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Domenico Tana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Pagliarini. Roncadella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domenico Tana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a little luck, Marano's Comunardo Bulla got control of the ball when Concetto Labate tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Marano got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Farina. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
