In the 17th minute, Carlo Flocco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saliceto Panaro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 23 minutes of play, Saliceto Panaro FC's Carlo Flocco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Napoleone was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes in the game, Amedeo Trentini fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Davide Sampo having to interfere. If Fabio Gallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Beppe Tabacco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlo Flocco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Gallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davide Sampo having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Saliceto Panaro FC's Cristoforo Panno got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saliceto Panaro FC's goalkeeper Davide Sampo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Gallo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Amedeo Trentini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Beppe Tabacco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saliceto Panaro FC's Davide Sampo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Trentini in the 63rd minute of play. Amedeo Trentini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Saliceto Panaro FC's Beppe Tabacco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabio Napoleone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beppe Tabacco struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Fabio Napoleone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saliceto Panaro FC. Carlo Flocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cosimo De Meis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Biagio Albanesi kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Armin Mazzocchetti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saliceto Panaro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quartesana AFC the free kick. Saliceto Panaro FC played a much better game than Quartesana AFC and deserved their victory. The Quartesana AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
