Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugenio Scrima took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Alessandro Suriani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Multedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Suriani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrea Marinucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corrado Di Giambattista having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Scrima in the 20th minute of play forced Multedo's goalkeeper Alberto De Lellis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuele Pietrantoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto De Lellis having to interfere. If Eugenio Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Multedo's Alberto De Lellis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Scrima in the 28th minute of play. If Eugenio Scrima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Meianiga getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Comunardo De Matteis hit a great ball. Alberto De Lellis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Scrima, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Andrea Marinucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
55 minutes into the match, Andrea Marinucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corrado Di Giambattista. Meianiga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrea Marinucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 66 minutes into the match, Multedo's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Scrima came free, but Alberto De Lellis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Multedo's Alberto De Lellis got control of the ball when Cristiano Stumpo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Diego Berardinelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Meianiga's zone, Andrea Marinucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Di Giambattista came out of the goal and Andrea Marinucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corrado Di Giambattista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alessandro Suriani went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Alessandro Suriani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Corrado Di Giambattista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrea Marinucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Multedo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Meianiga for a fine match.
