Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eugenio Carosella started the match with the kick off. When Lerca AFC's Fausto Contaldi in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calerno AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 played minutes Calerno AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Teti. Lerca AFC's Fausto Contaldi got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Carosella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ercole Tesone having to interfere. Ercole Tesone stood somewhat misplaced when Eugenio Carosella came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. If Ciro Campitelli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmondo Ceccarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Contaldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Calerno AFC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Filippo Facchetti hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Arrigo Biagetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute, Eugenio Carosella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calerno AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Contaldi to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Calerno AFC's goalkeeper Edmondo Ceccarelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippo Mancinelli. Calerno AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Arrigo Biagetti scored to the left of an out of position Edmondo Ceccarelli, making the score, 2-1. Ercole Tesone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Carosella, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Edmondo Ceccarelli made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Arrigo Biagetti sent off a good shot on target. If Fausto Contaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arrigo Biagetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Edmondo Ceccarelli made a huge save. Fausto Contaldi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Edmondo Ceccarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lerca AFC. Arrigo Biagetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Ceccarelli having to interfere. If Eugenio Carosella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Carosella took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ercole Tesone. Ercole Tesone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Eugenio Carosella scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ercole Tesone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Calerno AFC booed when Lerca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Paganelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Carosella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Calerno AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
