Vigorovea AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aldo Lombardi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabiano Di Luzio was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Vigorovea AFC's zone, Elia Foddis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Tagliente's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabiano Di Luzio firmly grabbed it by the left post. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aldo Lombardi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
