Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Godia AFC's Achille Santoro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Barcola's Corrado Liberati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achille Santoro in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Di Cesare got free with Diego Iannone in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Fabiano Stellato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabiano Stellato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corrado Liberati breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Corrado Liberati came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Godia AFC's Fabiano Stellato. But to his dismay, Fabiano Stellato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Carmine Matteucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Iannone having to interfere. Corrado Liberati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Stellato in the 30th minute of play. Barcola's Corrado Liberati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Cericola in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Carmine Matteucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Godia AFC's Diego Iannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Fabiano Stellato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmine Matteucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Iannone having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Godia AFC's zone, Ettore Alfani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Iannone came out of the goal and Ettore Alfani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrico Di Cesare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Iannone having to interfere. The Barcola players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Godia AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmine Matteucci was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Cericola during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Godia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Cericola. Achille Santoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Corrado Liberati tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barcola! Corrado Liberati had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Eraldo Bomba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Corrado Liberati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Achille Santoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Carmine Matteucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Iannone having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barcola! The referee gave Godia AFC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eraldo Bomba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barcola's Corrado Liberati. 0-2. Donato Rondinelli kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Carmine Matteucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Iannone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carmine Matteucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Diego Iannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domenico Cavanna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Iannone having to interfere. If Enrico Di Cesare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Achille Santoro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Corrado Liberati. That made the score 0-3 in the 97 minute of play. Godia AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
