Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Fausto De Paolis made the kick off and thus started the match. When Comunardo Profeta came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Orero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Comunardo Profeta couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Stra's Biagio Mascitti got control of the ball when Ferruccio Papetti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Biagio Mascitti came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Orero's Ferruccio Papetti. But to his dismay, Ferruccio Papetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto De Paolis in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosimo Rago saved Orero from getting behind. Ferruccio Papetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Biagio Mascitti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Stra's Anfilogino Di Tommaso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosimo Rago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fausto De Paolis might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosimo Rago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto De Paolis ran back to his position shaking his head. Anfilogino Di Tommaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Cosimo Rago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Fausto De Paolis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Achille Cesareo's late challenge caught a Stra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Achille Cesareo helped the player get up and apologised. Achille Cesareo hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Carmine De Vito was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 39th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 41st minute Anfilogino Di Tommaso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosimo Rago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfilogino Di Tommaso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosimo Rago having to interfere. Fausto De Paolis scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosimo Rago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After a rather tough play, Stra's Attilio Nero got a free kick in the 54th minute. Cesare Parco charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesare Parco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes Stra got a freekick which was hit by Cesare Parco. After a rather tough play, Stra's Attilio Nero got a free kick in the 59th minute. Comunardo Profeta struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Biagio Mascitti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orero. Ferruccio Papetti took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Biagio Mascitti. Biagio Mascitti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 72 minutes of play, Orero's Ferruccio Papetti made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Biagio Mascitti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosimo Rago came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Stra's Anfilogino Di Tommaso. But to his dismay, Anfilogino Di Tommaso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The long shot by Carmine De Vito in the 79th minute really tested Cosimo Rago's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Orero's Ferruccio Papetti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Biagio Mascitti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Stra's zone, Ferruccio Papetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Biagio Mascitti came out of the goal and Ferruccio Papetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anfilogino Di Tommaso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 92 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cosimo Rago was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Carlo Di Giulio fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orero's protests and gave Carlo Di Giulio a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Orero got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Di Giulio. Cosimo Rago made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Anfilogino Di Tommaso sent off a good shot on target. Anfilogino Di Tommaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Fausto De Paolis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orero were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Stra for a fine match.
