Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Demetrio Mastronardi got the match started through his kick off. Alessio Ciccarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Anastasi in the 3rd minute of the match. Fabrizio Catapano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Di Cola having to interfere. Volpiano's Bianco Di Cola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Volpiano from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Damiano Bizzarri notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rosapineta AFC's Alessio Ciccarelli. Alessio Ciccarelli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alessio Ciccarelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Fantauzzi in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rosapineta AFC's zone, Diego Filippini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio Ciccarelli came out of the goal and Diego Filippini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rosapineta AFC's Alessio Ciccarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Bizzarri in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Volpiano's zone, Demetrio Mastronardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bianco Di Cola came out of the goal and Demetrio Mastronardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Demetrio Mastronardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Di Cola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrizio Catapano in the 41st minute. Damiano Bizzarri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alessio Ciccarelli having to make a save. Bruno Bomba hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Alessio Ciccarelli was a little too slow when Diego Filippini got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. In the 71st minute Demetrio Mastronardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Di Cola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Diego Filippini came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Volpiano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Filippini couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes Volpiano got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Lucidi. Bianco Di Cola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Demetrio Mastronardi, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Rosapineta AFC's Bruno Bomba got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Rosapineta AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Volpiano's performance. The match ended with a win for Volpiano.
