The referee ignored Bresso AFC's protests and gave Ermanno De Donatis a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Bresso AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ermanno De Donatis. Fabrizio Catapano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rosapineta AFC! Florian Manna shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Rosapineta AFC's Alessio Ciccarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Rosapineta AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute, Bresso AFC's Comunardo Massa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alessio Ciccarelli. Alessio Ciccarelli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Comunardo Massa made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Bresso AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Manna to maneuver through the defense. If Amerigo Scannella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosapineta AFC's Alessio Ciccarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Comunardo Massa in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rosapineta AFC's zone, Enrico Pocobello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessio Ciccarelli came out of the goal and Enrico Pocobello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Rosapineta AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bruno Bomba hit a great ball. Comunardo Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Massa in the 90th minute of play forced Rosapineta AFC's goalkeeper Alessio Ciccarelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Enrico Pocobello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
