Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trento's Enrico Raffa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trento's Dario Orecchioni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Trento from getting a goal against them. Cesare Zoccali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bruno Marulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Orecchioni having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trento's zone, Cesare Zoccali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Orecchioni came out of the goal and Cesare Zoccali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franco Domenici kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Dario Orecchioni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 20thth minute of the game Bernardo Parco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Damaso's Concetto Mazzini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bernardo Parco came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Trento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Parco couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, San Damaso's Cesare Zoccali got a free kick in the 29th minute. Enrico Raffa took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Mazzini. Concetto Mazzini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 33rd minute Bernardo Parco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Mazzini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Domenici got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 36th match minute, Trento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Domenici to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute San Damaso were awarded a corner. Arrigo Morini went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 40th minute, Emiliano Bonelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Marulli was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, San Damaso's Concetto Mazzini got control of the ball when Bernardo Parco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Parco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Concetto Mazzini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Parco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. San Damaso's Cesare Zoccali got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Enrico Raffa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Damaso the free kick. The supporters of San Damaso booed when Trento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrico Raffa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Orecchioni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Marulli's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 69th match minute, Trento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Parco to maneuver through the defense. Fulvio Crema lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 71 minutes into the game, one of Trento:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dario Orecchioni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Zoccali in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of San Damaso booed when Trento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Balboni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare Zoccali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dario Orecchioni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiliano Bonelli scored 3-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Orecchioni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bruno Marulli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
