Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ercole Di Giambattista made the kick off and thus started the match. After 2 played minutes Olive AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dario Beattie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ercole Di Giambattista in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexander De Lorenzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciccio Marchesani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ercole Di Giambattista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Ciccio Marchesani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cao Di Sopra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Marchesani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cao Di Sopra's Alberigo De Gregorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cao Di Sopra from getting a goal against them. Felice Muzi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Alfredo Pettinelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Alberigo De Gregorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Cao Di Sopra's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Pettinelli came free, but Alberigo De Gregorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ciccio Marchesani came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cao Di Sopra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciccio Marchesani couldn't finish the play. Alexander De Lorenzi came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Cao Di Sopra's Ciccio Marchesani. But to his dismay, Ciccio Marchesani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Cao Di Sopra booed when Olive AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Giusto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute of the match Carlo Caligaris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexander De Lorenzi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Cao Di Sopra were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Pettinelli was the one to do the kick off. Alberigo De Gregorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Pettinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ernesto Antenucci charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Antenucci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, Ernesto Antenucci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Pettinelli struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alberigo De Gregorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olive AFC. In the 62nd minute Ciro Di Marino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberigo De Gregorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olive AFC's Alexander De Lorenzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Olive AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th match minute, Cao Di Sopra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Marchesani to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Cao Di Sopra's Ciccio Marchesani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexander De Lorenzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ciro Di Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberigo De Gregorio having to interfere. Alexander De Lorenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Di Giambattista in the 93rd minute of play. Cao Di Sopra's Felice Muzi pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Cao Di Sopra booed when Olive AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Pettinelli didn't get a good kick on the ball.
