Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Carlo Catapano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th match minute, Monticello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Morini to maneuver through the defense. Ciro De Vecchis's late challenge caught a Sanda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro De Vecchis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Monticello getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ciro De Vecchis hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Anfilogino Cipriani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anfilogino Cipriani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Salvucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlo Catapano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Monticello getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Adriano Giardino hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Anfilogino Cipriani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercole Di Monte during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Ercole Di Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessio Mancini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Milanese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Augusto Salvucci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monticello's Carlo Catapano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Monticello from getting a goal against them. Ciro De Vecchis got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Anfilogino Cipriani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Carlo Catapano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 33rd minute of the match Adriano Giardino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adriano Giardino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carlo Catapano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Salvucci in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Monticello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Milanese to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Celli, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Augusto Salvucci made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sanda booed when Monticello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Chitarroni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Celli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Catapano having to make a save. The supporters of Sanda booed when Monticello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberigo Monticelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Alex Canzano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monticello's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanda the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sanda's Armando Mandara got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute, Eugenio Milanese got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinando Morini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlo Catapano came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sanda's Anfilogino Cipriani. But to his dismay, Anfilogino Cipriani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dennis Berardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alessio Mancini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Milanese sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sanda had won after a very even match.
