Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Camillo Cirulli got the match started through his kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Marghera AFC's Alex Bosco tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alberigo Di Cintio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Di Filippo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Di Cintio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Filippo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Alfonso Chiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Grezzana getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Diego Carulli hit a great ball. Armando Zaccardi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Camillo Cirulli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amos Manzoni was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 22nd match minute, Grezzana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Mariotti to maneuver through the defense. Diego Carulli's late challenge caught a Marghera AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Carulli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Grezzana getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Diego Carulli hit a great ball. If Alfonso Chiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberigo Di Cintio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Chiola's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Fabrizio Di Filippo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberigo Di Cintio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Enzo Papa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Manzoni having to interfere.
The wind increased when Fabrizio Di Filippo made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Grezzana got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Carlini. 56 minutes into the match, Marghera AFC's Alex Bosco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marghera AFC's Fabrizio Di Filippo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Armin Bobbio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enzo Papa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Marghera AFC defense, Camillo Cirulli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amos Manzoni. The Marghera AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amos Manzoni should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Alfonso Chiola took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alberigo Di Cintio to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Grezzana's Ettore Olivieri got a free kick in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Cirulli in the 84th minute of play forced Marghera AFC's goalkeeper Amos Manzoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Marghera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Papa came free, but Amos Manzoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
