After 2 minutes, Armin Campoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grezzana and the Zello FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Grezzana got a freekick which was hit by Armin Campoli. Enzo Papa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Aldo Gentili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Gentili made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Enzo Papa sent off a good shot on target. In the 8th match minute, Grezzana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Biagio Mariotti to maneuver through the defense. Enzo Papa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Gentili having to interfere. Fabrizio Valeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alberigo Di Cintio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camillo Cirulli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Gentili read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Aldo Gentili made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Papa in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute, Damiano Proia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberigo Di Cintio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrizio Valeri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Di Cintio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Proia in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camillo Cirulli made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Fabrizio Valeri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zello FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrizio Valeri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Biagio Mariotti kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Fabrizio Valeri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Proia in the 60th minute of play forced Grezzana's goalkeeper Alberigo Di Cintio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Armin Campoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 63 minutes, Damiano Proia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zello FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damiano Proia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Camillo Cirulli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grezzana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camillo Cirulli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Zello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Cirulli came free, but Aldo Gentili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damiano Proia in the 81st minute of play forced Grezzana's goalkeeper Alberigo Di Cintio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
