Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Fabrizio Di Filippo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Alexander Buonanno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Manzoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filippo Galli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Chiola in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Alexander Buonanno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alexander Buonanno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrazza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Buonanno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amos Manzoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cosimo Lio struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Amos Manzoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrazza FC. 22 minutes into the match, Marghera AFC's goalkeeper Amos Manzoni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Lio. Cosimo Lio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Amos Manzoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabrizio Di Filippo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filippo Galli having to interfere. Filippo Galli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrizio Di Filippo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Dave Helfer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marghera AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torrazza FC the free kick. A collision led to Marghera AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dave Helfer hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Anthony Mancinelli in the 33rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Amos Manzoni's left hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Lio got free with Amos Manzoni in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Torrazza FC's Emiliano Stellato got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Buonanno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosimo Lio struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Amos Manzoni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrazza FC. After 59 minutes, Anthony Mancinelli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torrazza FC and the Marghera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amos Manzoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Lio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Fabrizio Di Filippo got in the 69th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Filippo Galli handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Amos Manzoni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Lio in the 74th minute of play. Alfonso Chiolas short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Filippo Galli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Marghera AFC booed when Torrazza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Stellato didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Marghera AFC's Alfonso Chiola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filippo Galli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Torrazza FC's Filippo Galli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrizio Di Filippo in the 86th minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Alexander Buonanno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Amos Manzoni was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
