Anselmo De Filippo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. When Emanuele Taurino came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Arcore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Taurino couldn't finish the play. Modugno's Alessio Bozzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuele Taurino in the 20th minute of play. Ciccio Restaino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armin Monaco in the 22nd minute of the match. Ciccio Restaino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armin Monaco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Fabrizio Macchione sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amedeo Capasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciccio Restaino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amedeo Capasso's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Arcore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo Capasso came free, but Ciccio Restaino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emanuele Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arcore FC's Ciccio Restaino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Capasso in the 46th minute of play. When Emiliano Sorrentino fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arcore FC's protests and gave Emiliano Sorrentino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Emiliano Sorrentino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuele Taurino made a kick off. Ciccio Restaino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armin Monaco in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Armin Monaco rounded Arcore FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. In the 62nd minute Emanuele Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessio Bozzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Taurino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Alessio Bozzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amedeo Capasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrizio Macchione in the 73rd minute of play forced Modugno's goalkeeper Alessio Bozzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Emanuele Taurino notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Modugno's Alessio Bozzo. Alessio Bozzo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emanuele Taurino came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Arcore FC fans jumped to their feet. Ciccio Restaino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Modugno. Alessio Bozzo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Arcore FC's Fabrizio Macchione shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Arcore FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
