In the 4th minute, Alfredo Damiani made a precise shot to the right of Dino Nobili. Collinello AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Damiano Faieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Alfani in the 11th minute of the match. Alfredo Damiani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Nobili having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Fulvio Di Vincenzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezzana Casati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulvio Di Vincenzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Beppe Selvi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, one of Mezzana Casati FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mezzana Casati FC. The goalkeeper, Damiano Faieta, was totally fooled by Collinello AFC's Anfilogino Andreoli, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Alessio Spada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Dino Nobili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fulvio Di Vincenzo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Franco Alfani fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alessio Spada struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Dino Nobili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mezzana Casati FC. If Alfredo Damiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Alfani was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Cavanna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute of the match Ettore Cipriani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Nobili skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Mezzana Casati FC booed when Collinello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Tarulli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Tarulli hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Collinello AFC's goalkeeper Dino Nobili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessio Spada. After a defensive mix-up in Mezzana Casati FC's zone, Franco Alfani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damiano Faieta came out of the goal and Franco Alfani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Collinello AFC! In the 78th minute of the game, Mezzana Casati FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. If Alfredo Damiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play, Mezzana Casati FC's Alfredo Damiani made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Nobili was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Adriano Cherubini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Collinello AFC's Franco Alfani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Faieta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. If Alfredo Damiani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Collinello AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Beppe Selvi hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
