Alexander Marzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 4 minutes, Ciccio Cerrone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Testana FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciccio Cerrone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute of the match Ettore Rava sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Achille Chitarroni skillfully saved the ball. When Alberto Rapone fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Testana FC's protests and gave Alberto Rapone a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Testana FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Rapone. Domenico Galdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Cerrone in the 16th minute of play. Achille Chitarroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Marchetti in the 18th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Dario Marchetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Achille Chitarroni. Testana FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Marchetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 25th minute, Edoardo Berardini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes Testana FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Rapone. A collision led to Testana FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ciccio Cerrone hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Testana FC's Ennio Costanzo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Testana FC's Alexander Marzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Galdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Achille Chitarroni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Ballerini in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Dario Marchetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Copparo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Dario Marchetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Chitarroni having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudio Ballerini made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Testana FC's Alexander Marzo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Alexander Marzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Domenico Galdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Testana FC's zone, Dario Marchetti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achille Chitarroni came out of the goal and Dario Marchetti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Copparo AFC's Dario Marchetti came free and shot a quick shot against goal 72 minutes in the game, fortunately Achille Chitarroni had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Claudio Ballerini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Chitarroni having to interfere. Claudio Ballerini struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Achille Chitarroni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copparo AFC. Dario Marchetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Achille Chitarroni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achille Chitarroni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Ballerini in the 84th minute. Augusto De Iuliis didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 88th minute, Ciccio Cerrone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domenico Galdi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Marzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Copparo AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
