The Novare FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Aurelio Castelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Tuzzolino in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Franco Tuzzolino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Novare FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Tuzzolino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Castelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Incrociate's Concetto Iannotti got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Novare FC's Aurelio Pasquarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Concetto Iannotti in the 38th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franco Tuzzolino to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Ciro De Santis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Carmine Hell sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Novare FC's Aurelio Pasquarelli didn't even have to move. In the 57th minute, Davide Carbonetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Novare FC's Aurelio Pasquarelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Novare FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Incrociate booed when Novare FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro De Santis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davide Carbonetti got free with Aurelio Pasquarelli in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Concetto Iannotti struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aurelio Pasquarelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Incrociate. Aurelio Castelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Tuzzolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Franco Tuzzolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Bianchini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
