Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Litta FC's Demetrio Lizzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anthony Toppi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Demetrio Lizzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ettore Bulla fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Litta FC's protests and gave Ettore Bulla a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gambellara booed when Litta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Bulla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Morini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ferdinando Valeriani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fedele Pietrini charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fedele Pietrini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes Gambellara got a freekick which was hit by Fedele Pietrini. After a defensive mix-up in Litta FC's zone, Fabrizio Morini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinando Valeriani came out of the goal and Fabrizio Morini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Litta FC's Ettore Bulla got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Andrea De Vincentis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Litta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrea De Vincentis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Andrea De Vincentis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Fabrizio Morini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Valeriani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cosimo Marziali, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 38 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Ferdinando Valeriani was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Gambellara's Camillo Traini broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Demetrio Lizzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Toppi having to interfere. If Amerigo Volponi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Lizzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Litta FC's Ferdinando Valeriani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Marziali in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Fabrizio Morini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferdinando Valeriani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosimo Marziali in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Litta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Morini came free, but Ferdinando Valeriani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andrea De Vincentis came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Litta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea De Vincentis couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Gambellara's Amerigo Volponi got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Litta FC's Edoardo Martelli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Demetrio Lizzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demetrio Lizzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrizio Morini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Demetrio Lizzi had several of the Gambellara's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Anthony Toppi as he didn't even see the shot coming.
