In the 4th match minute, Settecamini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Della Rocca to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes, Fedele Lalli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Settecamini and the Orgnano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, one of Settecamini:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Settecamini. The supporters of Orgnano FC booed when Settecamini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Grilli didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Settecamini's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Bevilacqua came free, but Domenico Scarpone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenico Scarpone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Angelini in the 14th minute of play. When Orgnano FC's Frank Angelini in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Domenico Scarpone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Bevilacqua's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Orgnano FC booed when Settecamini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Di Fonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Bevilacqua in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domenico Scarpone saved Settecamini from getting behind. Comunardo De Matteis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Di Gennaro in the 26th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dino Di Mascio got free with Comunardo De Matteis in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Angelini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes, Antonio Antico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Settecamini and the Orgnano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antonio Antico kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Settecamini's goalkeeper Domenico Scarpone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dino Di Mascio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Comunardo De Matteis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Angelini made a kick off. The supporters of Orgnano FC booed when Settecamini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Campo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristiano Bevilacqua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arturo Di Gennaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Comunardo De Matteis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Settecamini's zone, Cristiano Bevilacqua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Scarpone came out of the goal and Cristiano Bevilacqua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eraldo Cicchetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Domenico Scarpone made a huge save. Settecamini's Domenico Scarpone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Settecamini from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano Bevilacqua got free with Domenico Scarpone in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Settecamini's Arturo Di Gennaro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Orgnano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dino Di Mascio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Orgnano FC's Comunardo De Matteis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Della Rocca in the 95th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
