Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carlo Piccoli took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Codemondo booed when Settecamini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Faiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domenico Scarpone acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 4th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carmine Giammarino. Arturo Di Gennaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Arturo Di Gennaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Comunardo Di Persio was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Dario Della Rocca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Settecamini's Dino Di Mascio got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlo Piccoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domenico Scarpone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Codemondo's Comunardo Di Persio got control of the ball when Dino Di Mascio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Comunardo Di Persio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Dino Di Mascio sent off a good shot on target. Aurelio Colucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Aurelio Colucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Codemondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Colucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Codemondo's Carlo Piccoli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Scarpone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aurelio Colucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Carmine Giammarino was slow to take the kick. During this time Codemondo's players had a chance to rest. Carmine Giammarino made a great header on Codemondo's corner, it was just that Settecamini's Domenico Scarpone managed to reach the ball for a save. The Settecamini supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Settecamini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
