Fausto Bartolomucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Di Fiore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Claudio Betti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Zugliano AFC's Fausto Bartolomucci slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudio Betti. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Amos Apicella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zugliano AFC's Carlo Di Natale got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Fausto Bartolomucci reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Betti. The goal made the score 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Di Bartolo during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Di Bartolo hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Zugliano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andrea Scurti came free, but Donato Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Marinasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Matteucci to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match Bruno Petrucci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Betti skillfully saved the ball. Fausto Bartolomucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Claudio Betti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fausto Bartolomucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Andrea Scurti made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Marinasco FC's Amos Apicella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Iannone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Betti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Di Fiore, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. With a little luck, Zugliano AFC's Donato Iannone got control of the ball when Amos Apicella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Betti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Bartolomucci in the 62nd minute of the match. Claudio Betti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Bartolomucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Domenico Dossena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Iannone skillfully saved the ball. Anthony Sardella charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthony Sardella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Marinasco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Sardella to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Marinasco FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ciccio Teodori hit a great ball. In the 74th minute of the match Bruno Petrucci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Betti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zugliano AFC's Donato Iannone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Zugliano AFC from getting a goal against them. If Andrea Scurti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Di Bartolo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Fausto Bartolomucci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudio Betti. Marinasco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Bartolomucci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marinasco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zugliano AFC.
