An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Troiani in the 11th minute of play forced Zugliano AFC's goalkeeper Donato Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Zugliano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian De Cristofaro came free, but Donato Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Settecamini FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Francesco Di Michele hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Amos Ciolli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Settecamini FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zugliano AFC the free kick. In the 20th minute, Amos Ciolli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play Settecamini FC's Amos Ciolli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Zugliano AFC booed when Settecamini FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Ciolli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferruccio Caniglia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Settecamini FC got a freekick which was hit by Andrea Vitale. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Di Bartolo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zugliano AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Armando Di Bartolo hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Settecamini FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Vitale to maneuver through the defense. If Armando Di Bartolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Donato Di Fiore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Bartolomucci to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute, Christian De Cristofaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zugliano AFC's Bruno Petrucci couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Settecamini FC. Fausto Bartolomucci took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Di Lullo. Bruno Di Lullo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Donato Di Fiore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Di Lullo having to interfere. Fausto Bartolomucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Augusto Antonangeli hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Zugliano AFC were the better team. Zugliano AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
