Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dercogna's Corrado Candeloro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camillo Di Monte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercole Spagnuolo in the 5th minute of play. Fulvio Boldrini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Brunetta having to interfere. After 10 minutes, Francesco Tabacchi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dercogna and the Ponterotto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Ponterotto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulvio Boldrini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Ponterotto's Damiano Esposito got a free kick in the 16th minute. When Dercogna's Corrado Candeloro in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponterotto's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th play minute Fulvio Boldrini came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Biagio Brunetta. 1-0. In the 29th minute, Corrado Candeloro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Iannone struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Camillo Di Monte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ponterotto. Emanuele Silvestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Camillo Di Monte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ercole Spagnuolo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ercole Spagnuolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponterotto's supporters rose to their feet, but Ercole Spagnuolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camillo Di Monte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Dercogna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Giandomenico to maneuver through the defense. Emanuele Silvestre charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Silvestre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute Fulvio Boldrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Brunetta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Corrado Candeloro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosimo Galdi during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Ponterotto got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Galdi. 95 minutes into the match, Ponterotto's Ercole Spagnuolo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Camillo Di Monte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ercole Spagnuolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dercogna had won after a very even match.
