Comunardo Musso started the match with the kick off. If Augusto Falasca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Casinazzo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Falasca came free, but Cosimo Sammartino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Roverazza's Alfredo Del Pizzo got control of the ball when Franco Di Girolamo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Comunardo Musso in the 23rd minute of play forced Casinazzo AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Sammartino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Augusto Falasca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roverazza's Alfredo Del Pizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Di Girolamo in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franco Di Girolamo in the 31st minute of play forced Roverazza's goalkeeper Alfredo Del Pizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32ndth minute of the game Franco Di Girolamo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roverazza's Alfredo Del Pizzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ettore De Carolis scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Del Pizzo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Casinazzo AFC's goalkeeper Cosimo Sammartino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Di Girolamo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Falasca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Cosimo Sammartino made a huge save. Alfredo Del Pizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ettore De Carolis in the 58th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Comunardo Musso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cosimo Sammartino. The goal made the score 1-1. 71 minutes into the match, Roverazza's goal looked a bit too open when Franco Di Girolamo came free, but Alfredo Del Pizzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Del Pizzo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore De Carolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alfredo Del Pizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Di Girolamo in the 74th minute of the match. If Comunardo Musso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Edmondo Ferrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Di Girolamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alfredo Del Pizzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ettore De Carolis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casinazzo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ettore De Carolis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Del Pizzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Del Pizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Di Girolamo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
