In the 4th minute Concetto Battisti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniele Pantani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Bernardi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Ciccio Giampietro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Biscaccia getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Edoardo Mori hit a great ball. Ciccio Giampietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Orioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniele Pantani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Ramundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ciccio Giampietro was a little too slow when Andrea Bernardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Daniele Pantani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferruccio Ramundo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cruser's Aurelio Orioli got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ferruccio Ramundo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cruser's Daniele Pantani. Daniele Pantani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alberto Di Rado hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Andrea Bernardi took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Ciccio Giampietro to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Cruser getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Anselmo Mameli hit a great ball. Ferruccio Ramundo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniele Pantani having to make a save. Biscaccia's Ferruccio Ramundo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Concetto Battisti was the one to do the kick off. Cruser's Aurelio Orioli got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Orioli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciccio Giampietro having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Biscaccia! Aurelio Orioli struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ciccio Giampietro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruser. Ciccio Giampietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Orioli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciccio Giampietro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Orioli went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Andrea Bernardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Biscaccia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Colombi to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Andrea Bernardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aurelio Orioli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cruser's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
