Amerigo Palumbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Battisti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concadirame's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Concetto Battisti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Edoardo Mori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amerigo Palumbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Concetto Battisti, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Enrico Taurino fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Amerigo Palumbo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Concetto Battisti sent off a good shot on target. The corner led Biscaccia's Dennis De Angelis to fire away a dangerous shot which Amerigo Palumbo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 70 played minutes, Concadirame's Antonio Pellecchia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ciccio Giampietro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Concadirame's Amerigo Palumbo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Concadirame from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Concetto Battisti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Biscaccia's supporters rose to their feet, but Concetto Battisti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amerigo Palumbo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ernesto Minati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
