Ciro De Vito started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Gazzata's Alvise Anelli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amedeo Panza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro De Vito in the 9th minute of play forced Gazzata's goalkeeper Carlo Di Luca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Càtafório AFC's Amedeo Panza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristoforo Ferraris in the 11th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Gazzata's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro De Vito came free, but Carlo Di Luca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Gazzata getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Claudio Scacchi hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Emanuele Lepori managed to get in a good position for a shot. Càtafório AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuele Lepori was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Di Luca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emanuele Lepori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvise Anelli made a kick off. Gazzata's Carlo Di Luca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro De Vito in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Dino Uguccioni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gazzata's supporters rose to their feet, but Dino Uguccioni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amedeo Panza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristoforo Ferraris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Amedeo Panza made a huge save. In the 61stth minute of the game Alvise Anelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Càtafório AFC's Amedeo Panza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elia Grassi hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ciro De Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Carlo Di Luca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristoforo Ferraris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Amedeo Panza made a huge save. After some careless play in the Gazzata defense, Emanuele Lepori kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlo Di Luca. The Gazzata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlo Di Luca should have stopped the shot. After 81 played minutes Càtafório AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Canuto. After a rather tough play, Gazzata's Claudio Scacchi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Alvise Anelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Càtafório AFC's Amedeo Panza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Alvise Anelli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alvise Anelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Càtafório AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
