In the 12th minute Emiliano Ferreri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabiano Cirelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th play minute Aldo Moriggi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabiano Cirelli. 2-0. Aldo Moriggi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Fabiano Cirelli made a huge save. Fabiano Cirelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Ferreri, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Alfredo Caretti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Domenghini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Combi in the 48th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emiliano Ferreri to make the kick off. Elia Domenghini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Combi in the 52nd minute of play. Aldo Moriggi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiano Cirelli having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aldo Moriggi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tassina's supporters rose to their feet, but Aldo Moriggi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabiano Cirelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabiano Combi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elia Domenghini. That made the score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. After 67 minutes, Cesare Cristofari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tassina and the Pino Soprano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Cesare Cristofari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pino Soprano FC's zone, Aldo Moriggi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabiano Cirelli came out of the goal and Aldo Moriggi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano Cirelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Moriggi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Pino Soprano FC's Alfredo Caretti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elia Domenghini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
