Fabio Cattaneo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Palumbo in the 53rd minute of play. Ercole Vitullo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amedeo Helfer kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Bernardo Rozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Borrelli having to interfere. Filippo Bizzarri kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Rebbio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rebbio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
