Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lazzaretto's Camillo Cacciatore started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristoforo Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Castellani in the 4th minute of play. Cristoforo Gallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Castellani in the 5th minute of the match. Donato Cassone charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donato Cassone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lazzaretto's Donato Cassone got a free kick in the 9th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Valleggia AFC's Frank Renzetti tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lazzaretto defense, Filippo Di Lillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Cauli. The Lazzaretto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Cauli should have stopped the shot. After 28 played minutes Valleggia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Filippo Di Lillo. Enrico Castellani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Gallo having to interfere. Camillo Cacciatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristoforo Gallo having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Enrico Castellani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filippo Di Lillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Cauli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filippo Di Lillo in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Soccio in the 40th minute of play forced Lazzaretto's goalkeeper Alexander Cauli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Valleggia AFC's Filippo Di Lillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Cauli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Valleggia AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Frank Renzetti hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eraldo Soccio made a kick off. Alexander Cauli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eraldo Soccio in the 53rd minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Eraldo Soccio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valleggia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eraldo Soccio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 57th minute of the match Donato Cassone completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Donato Cassone a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 57 played minutes Lazzaretto got a freekick which was hit by Donato Cassone. In the 58th minute, Eraldo Soccio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Gallo was a little too slow when Alessio Fulgenzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-1. Alexander Cauli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eraldo Soccio's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Filippo Di Lillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Soccio in the 75th minute of play forced Lazzaretto's goalkeeper Alexander Cauli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Enrico Castellani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Eraldo Soccio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Cauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eraldo Soccio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippo Di Lillo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexander Cauli saved Lazzaretto from getting behind. Filippo Di Lillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Cauli having to interfere. Filippo Di Lillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Cauli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filippo Di Lillo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Filippo Di Lillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrico Castellani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
