Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trignano's Ciccio Piacente started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermanno Di Michele might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonello Zollino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermanno Di Michele ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute, Eugenio Bosso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the game, Ermanno Di Michele was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trignano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quercianella the free kick. The supporters of Quercianella booed when Trignano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermanno Di Michele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Quercianella's Dino Cugini in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Enrico Madonna was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Trignano through an amazing save. Enrico Natalucci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrico Madonna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Trignano's Enrico Madonna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Trignano from getting a goal against them. Antonello Zollino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Piacente, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Trignano booed when Quercianella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Corvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Di Michele in the 34th minute of play forced Quercianella's goalkeeper Antonello Zollino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrico Natalucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrico Madonna having to interfere. Eugenio Bosso charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Bosso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th match minute, Trignano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Bosso to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Quercianella's Enrico Natalucci got a free kick in the 37th minute. Ermanno Di Michele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Antonello Zollino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ciccio Piacente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonello Zollino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciccio Piacente in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Cugini to make the kick off. Ermanno Di Michele in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Antonello Zollino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 54th match minute, Quercianella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinando Arioli to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Trignano's Cristiano Caracciolo got a free kick in the 58th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Trignano's Ciccio Piacente slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antonello Zollino. That made the score 0-1 after 63 minutes of play. Enrico Madonna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Natalucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Quercianella fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Quercianella's Enrico Natalucci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enrico Madonna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Natalucci in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Enrico Natalucci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quercianella's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Natalucci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrico Madonna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 89 minutes, Ermanno Di Michele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trignano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Di Michele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ciccio Piacente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
