Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ciccio Bergomi started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Ferdinando Arioli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Zelarino FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Cugini came free, but Emanuele Zinni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Quercianella got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Sanna. 17 minutes into the match, Quercianella's goalkeeper Antonello Zollino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Schiacciacasse. After 18 played minutes Zelarino FC got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Cerrone. 23 minutes into the match, Filippo Bianchi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antonello Zollino. Quercianella's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filippo Bianchi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Antonello Zollino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Bergomi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Quercianella's goalkeeper Antonello Zollino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Schiacciacasse. Alvise Cerrone charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvise Cerrone the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Alvise Cerrone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Zelarino FC booed when Quercianella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinando Arioli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciccio Bergomi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Antonello Zollino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Bergomi struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Antonello Zollino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zelarino FC. Antonello Ricci's late challenge caught a Zelarino FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonello Ricci helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Quercianella getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Antonello Ricci hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Quercianella's goal looked a bit too open when Domenico Iannotti came free, but Antonello Zollino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Cugini was the one to do the kick off. Zelarino FC's Emanuele Zinni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Cugini in the 52nd minute of play. Emanuele Zinni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrico Natalucci in the 52nd minute. Dino Cugini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Emanuele Zinni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Cugini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Zelarino FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Domenico Iannotti hit a great ball. If Enzo Schiacciacasse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Sanna charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Sanna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Zelarino FC booed when Quercianella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Sanna didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ciccio Bergomi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Zelarino FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciccio Bergomi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dino Cugini in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Zinni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 minutes of play Zelarino FC's Alvise Cerrone was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Enrico Natalucci in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Emanuele Zinni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Enzo Schiacciacasse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anselmo La Penna kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Emanuele Zinni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Cugini in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dino Cugini in the 80th minute of play forced Zelarino FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Zinni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Quercianella's Dino Cugini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuele Zinni. That made the score 1-1 after 82 minutes of play. Emanuele Zinni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Cugini in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Quercianella's Enrico Natalucci made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuele Zinni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuele Zinni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Cugini in the 95th minute of play. Enzo Schiacciacasse might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonello Zollino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enzo Schiacciacasse ran back to his position shaking his head.
