A collision led to Finocchio AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ciro Napoleoni hit a great ball. Adriano Barberio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diego Corleone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Vaiani in the 10th minute of play. Donato Chiarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Fortunato Borgatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Finocchio AFC's Domenico Guerriero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortunato Borgatello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Domenico Guerriero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthony Amadei kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Anselmo Motta, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Diego Corleone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camillo Vaiani, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Felice Sebastiani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Corleone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Vaiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Barberio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Finocchio AFC's Diego Corleone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camillo Vaiani in the 37th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Casine's Adriano Barberio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Corleone was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Camillo Vaiani in the 59th minute of play forced Finocchio AFC's goalkeeper Diego Corleone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Domenico Guerriero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Finocchio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenico Guerriero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fortunato Borgatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Chiarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Chiarelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Fortunato Borgatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dino Tofani fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casine's protests and gave Dino Tofani a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Casine getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dino Tofani hit a great ball. Fortunato Borgatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Guerriero in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Finocchio AFC's goalkeeper Diego Corleone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Barberio. Domenico Guerriero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fortunato Borgatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Finocchio AFC's Anselmo Motta got a free kick in the 88th minute. Casine's Camillo Vaiani got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Napoleoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Borgatello having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
