After some careless play in the Villa Opicina defense, Ennio Alati kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Celli. The Villa Opicina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Celli should have stopped the shot. Corrado Toninelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Buccella having to interfere. Fedele Di Franco hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Ennio Alati made the kick off in the second half.
