After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bianco Garibaldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontenure FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bianco Garibaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Concetto De Bettin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claudio Piscitelli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Concetto De Bettin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Piscitelli in the 17th minute of play forced Concorezzo FC's goalkeeper Concetto De Bettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Concorezzo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Preda to maneuver through the defense. Concetto De Bettin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Piscitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Alessandro Lepori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontenure FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Lepori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Claudio Piscitelli notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Concorezzo FC's Concetto De Bettin. Concetto De Bettin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dario Preda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Attilio Marinacci made a huge save. Claudio Piscitelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto De Bettin having to make a save. Claudio Piscitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Anfilogino Perna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 42 minutes into the match, Concorezzo FC's Anfilogino Perna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Attilio Marinacci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Claudio Piscitelli struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Concetto De Bettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontenure FC. Attilio Marinacci was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anfilogino Perna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anfilogino Perna made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Bianco Garibaldi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Concetto De Bettin. That made the score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Bianco Garibaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Concetto De Bettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Garibaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto De Bettin having to interfere. Concorezzo FC's Concetto De Bettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco Garibaldi in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bianco Garibaldi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Concetto De Bettin was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Pontenure FC's zone, Dennis Cugini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Marinacci came out of the goal and Dennis Cugini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Dennis Cugini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pontenure FC's Attilio Marinacci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pontenure FC's Attilio Marinacci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Cugini in the 81st minute of play. Attilio Marinacci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Cugini in the 87th minute of the match. Attilio Marinacci didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anfilogino Perna went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Fabrizio Sarnelli charged in rather forcefully in the 100th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabrizio Sarnelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 100 played minutes Pontenure FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Sarnelli. Anfilogino Perna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Marinacci having to interfere. Pontenure FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
