Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Armando Fulgenzi got the match started through his kick off. Montechiarugolo FC's Ciro Simone got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Montechiarugolo FC booed when Casaleggio Novara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Paris didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Casaleggio Novara's Armando Fulgenzi in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montechiarugolo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Montechiarugolo FC's Alfonso Donadoni got a free kick in the 16th minute. Emiliano Munno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Simone, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Ciccio Zara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Munno when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 29 minutes into the game, Emanuele Tripodi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casaleggio Novara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montechiarugolo FC the free kick. The supporters of Montechiarugolo FC booed when Casaleggio Novara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuele Tripodi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Augusto Teodori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Corleone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Fulgenzi's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Casaleggio Novara's zone, Alfredo Albertosi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emiliano Munno came out of the goal and Alfredo Albertosi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilio Corleone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Teodori in the 46th minute of the match. Ciro Simone scored 2-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Munno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ciro Simone to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Augusto Teodori got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 58th match minute, Casaleggio Novara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Fulgenzi to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the game, Alfredo Albertosi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montechiarugolo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casaleggio Novara the free kick. In the 79th minute, Ciro Simone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Montechiarugolo FC booed when Casaleggio Novara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Tamburrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Fulgenzi didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 87th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Armando Fulgenzi ran dejectedly back to his position. If Ciccio Zara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Simone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montechiarugolo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
