An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Vanni in the 6th minute of play forced Bagnoli AFC's goalkeeper Ermanno Alessandro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dennis Chiola came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Pieve Di Cesato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Chiola couldn't finish the play. Donato Vanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Alessandro having to interfere. Ermanno Alessandro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Vanni's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Pieve Di Cesato's Felice Troilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Di Tommaso in the 25th minute of play. With a little luck, Bagnoli AFC's Ermanno Alessandro got control of the ball when Dennis Chiola tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Daniele Musso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pieve Di Cesato's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bagnoli AFC the free kick. Daniele Musso kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Bianco Garibaldi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felice Troilo. Pieve Di Cesato's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bianco Garibaldi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Felice Troilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bianco Garibaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Daniele Musso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bianco Garibaldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Felice Troilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Di Tommaso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donato Vanni to strike the kick off in the second half. If Donato Vanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermanno Alessandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Vanni, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Ermanno Alessandro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Vanni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute, Bianco Garibaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felice Troilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Donato Vanni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermanno Alessandro having to make a save. Ermanno Alessandro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Bussi, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Pieve Di Cesato's goal looked a bit too open when Bianco Garibaldi came free, but Felice Troilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Chiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Alessandro having to interfere. Alessio Combi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Edmondo Casadei hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Armin Gambini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camillo Goffredo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Dennis Chiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes Bagnoli AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Goffredo. If Bianco Garibaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Garibaldi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felice Troilo came out and tried to block the shot, but Bianco Garibaldi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bagnoli AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
