Bassanello's Dennis Fini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Violento in the 7th minute of play. Fabiano Frasca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dennis Fini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferruccio Violento in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Fini saved Bassanello from getting behind. With a little luck, Bassanello's Dennis Fini got control of the ball when Fabiano Frasca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bassanello's Dennis Fini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Violento in the 17th minute of play. Fabiano Frasca struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Dennis Fini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gatteo A Mare. Ferruccio Violento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferruccio Violento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dennis Fini having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Adriano Alfonsi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Gazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Gatteo A Mare's Ferruccio Violento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dennis Fini. Dennis Fini yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Bassanello's zone, Ferruccio Violento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Fini came out of the goal and Ferruccio Violento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Fini made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Fabiano Frasca sent off a good shot on target. Dennis Fini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferruccio Violento, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Gazza made a kick off. Alvise Bolognini charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvise Bolognini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Bassanello got a freekick which was hit by Alvise Bolognini. Fabiano Frasca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Gazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gatteo A Mare getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ennio Rosati hit a great ball. Anselmo Gazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Ruggieri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anselmo Gazza ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Bassanello's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Frasca came free, but Dennis Fini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Anselmo Gazza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bassanello's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Gazza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Ruggieri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabiano Frasca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ferruccio Violento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gatteo A Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferruccio Violento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Fini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gatteo A Mare were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bassanello for a fine match.
