Bernardo Tesone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Caccia having to interfere. Amos Formica kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Ettore Imperatrice shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bianco Caccia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 30 played minutes Boara Pisani FC got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Manzo. After 31 played minutes, Vercelli's Ettore Imperatrice shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bianco Caccia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vercelli reached it. Antonello Berardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Bosso having to interfere. If Beppe Rocchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vercelli's Attilio Bosso got control of the ball when Antonello Berardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Attilio Bosso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beppe Rocchi in the 44th minute of play. Ermanno Monticelli kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carmine Liberatore made the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Vercelli's Bianco Caccia threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carmine Liberatore, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Vercelli's Carmine Liberatore slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bianco Caccia. That made the score 1-1 after 56 minutes of play. Bernardo Tesone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Bianco Caccia made a huge save.
