Antonio Taddeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Basilicanova's goalkeeper Camillo Bartolomucci, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Bagazzano's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Adriano came free, but Edoardo Gelsomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Catini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Armin Teodori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camillo Bartolomucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edoardo Gelsomini made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Alvaro Catini sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberigo Adriano made a kick off. After 56th play minutes Antonio Taddeo shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Camillo Bartolomucci and just under the crossbar into goal. Alberigo Adriano struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Edoardo Gelsomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basilicanova. Edoardo Gelsomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Catini in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute Alberigo Adriano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edoardo Gelsomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Catini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Catini in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edoardo Gelsomini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Catini struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Edoardo Gelsomini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Basilicanova. 83 minutes into the game, Fulvio Tofani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bagazzano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basilicanova the free kick. In the 87th minute, Antonio Taddeo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armin Teodori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camillo Bartolomucci having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bagazzano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
