Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Rolo's Edoardo Aversano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Biagio Vani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carmine Vago having to make a save. Eraldo Torelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes Rolo got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Paoletti. Davide De Santis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eraldo Torelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edoardo Aversano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmine Vago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Saletta's Carmine Vago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Aversano in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edoardo Aversano in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carmine Vago saved Saletta from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Ferdinando Franceschini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saletta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rolo the free kick. A collision led to Saletta getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Ferdinando Franceschini hit a great ball. Eraldo Torelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Davide De Santis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Bianco Pantalone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rolo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saletta the free kick. If Carlo Benarrivo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davide De Santis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eraldo Torelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Cristoforo Curti charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristoforo Curti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amerigo Rocco shot from long distance in the 47th minute, but Davide De Santis was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eraldo Torelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Davide De Santis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Benarrivo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Rolo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dennis Spiazzi hit a great ball. Eraldo Torelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmondo Trasatti charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Saletta's Edmondo Trasatti got a free kick in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Edoardo Aversano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rolo's supporters rose to their feet, but Edoardo Aversano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmine Vago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Saletta got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinando Franceschini. In the 73rd minute, Edoardo Aversano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carmine Vago. The goal made the score 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eraldo Torelli in the 79th minute of play forced Rolo's goalkeeper Davide De Santis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edoardo Aversano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Carlo Benarrivo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Rolo getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bianco Pantalone hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rolo's zone, Carlo Benarrivo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davide De Santis came out of the goal and Carlo Benarrivo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Paoletti kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Rolo's goal looked a bit too open when Eraldo Torelli came free, but Davide De Santis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eraldo Torelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Davide De Santis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saletta's Carlo Benarrivo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
