After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Anselmo Gaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stezzano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Gaeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Bruno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cosimo Cangiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Enrico Chioda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roverazza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrico Chioda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cosimo Cangiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Roverazza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Verdini. After having played for 38 minutes, Anselmo Gaeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stezzano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Gaeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Stezzano FC's Enrico Di Toma got a free kick in the 40th minute. Franco Bruno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Gaeta in the 44th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Fagnani in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franco Bruno saved Roverazza AFC from getting behind. Franco Bruno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Fagnani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anfilogino Fagnani made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Attilio Leopardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roverazza AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stezzano FC the free kick. After 51 played minutes Roverazza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Leopardi. 53 minutes into the match, Roverazza AFC's goalkeeper Franco Bruno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anfilogino Fagnani. After 56th play minutes Enrico Chioda shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Dave Ursini and just under the crossbar into goal. 61 minutes into the game, Enrico Chioda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dave Ursini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dave Ursini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosimo Cangiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Anfilogino Fagnani might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Bruno. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfilogino Fagnani ran back to his position shaking his head. If Enrico Di Toma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Enrico Chioda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Franco Bruno managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Stezzano FC's Anselmo Gaeta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roverazza AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Stezzano FC for a fine match.
