Budrione's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dennis Palladino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dennis Palladino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Bruno having to interfere. If Franco Strano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Budrione's Dennis Palladino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Franco Bruno. Franco Bruno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrico Chioda to strike the kick off in the second half. Dennis Palladino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Franco Bruno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Franco Strano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Budrione's Carter Bianchi got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Enrico Chioda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roverazza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrico Chioda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florian Epifani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Orioli's late challenge caught a Roverazza AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Orioli helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Budrione getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alfonso Orioli hit a great ball. Enrico Chioda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florian Epifani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Enrico Chioda took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Florian Epifani to make any attempt to save it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
