In the 4th minute, Alfonso Santilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Aquilino in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Giannico saved Ceriano FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Bagno A Ripoli's Alvise Di Santo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Bernardo Giannico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Aquilino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bagno A Ripoli booed when Ceriano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Quadrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Concetto Aquilino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Giannico was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Bernardo Giannico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Del Pizzo in the 29th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Ceriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Santilli to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Santilli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Del Pizzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bernardo Giannico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bianco Giorgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceriano FC's Bianco Giorgi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alfonso Santilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Giorgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camillo Santarelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Santilli in the 77th minute of the match. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Alfonso Santilli notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Bagno A Ripoli's Camillo Santarelli. Ceriano FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bagno A Ripoli for a fine match.
