Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Amedeo Carota got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Carmine Pelati's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrea Di Fabrizio was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Amedeo Carota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Donato Iacomini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Andrea Di Fabrizio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Flavio Cassone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cortesano and the Casette FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Cortesano getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Flavio Cassone hit a great ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Donato Iacomini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cortesano's Andrea Di Fabrizio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domenico Mariotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Carota, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Carota in the 27th minute of play forced Casette FC's goalkeeper Domenico Mariotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cortesano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Santagata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Iacomini to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Carmine Pelati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casette FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Pelati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrea Di Fabrizio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 58 played minutes, Cortesano's Cristiano Biondi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Domenico Mariotti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cortesano reached it. If Diego Santagata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diego Santagata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Mariotti having to interfere. Amedeo Carota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Cortesano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Santagata. Diego Santagata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Mariotti having to interfere. Cortesano's Amedeo Carota got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cortesano's Andrea Di Fabrizio got control of the ball when Carmine Pelati tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, Cortesano failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
