Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Donato Iacomini started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Casette FC's Domenico Mariotti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Rotili in the 3rd minute of play. In the 9th minute, Frank Rotili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donato Iacomini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the game, Federico Spinosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casette FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ravenna the free kick. Federico Spinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Frank Rotili who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casette FC's Domenico Mariotti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Ravenna were awarded a corner. Amerigo Oberrauch went to the cornerflag to take it. Eugenio Manna was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 30 minutes into the match, Casette FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Rotili came free, but Domenico Mariotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Frank Rotili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domenico Mariotti. Casette FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Rotili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Rotili in the 42nd minute of play forced Casette FC's goalkeeper Domenico Mariotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ravenna's Eugenio Manna got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes, Dave Costacurta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casette FC and the Ravenna players grew even worse after the yellow card.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Rotili to make the kick off. If Carlo Granati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ravenna's attack was well implemented in the 55th minute, but when Camillo Colelli was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Domenico Mariotti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Rotili in the 56th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Casette FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Minati. 61 minutes into the match, Ravenna's Frank Rotili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domenico Mariotti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Rotili in the 67th minute of play forced Casette FC's goalkeeper Domenico Mariotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Minati kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Frank Rotili fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenico Mariotti having to interfere. Frank Rotili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Domenico Mariotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Iacomini in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermanno Muzzolon saved Ravenna from getting behind. When Carmine Pelati came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Casette FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmine Pelati couldn't finish the play. Frank Rotili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmine Pelati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermanno Muzzolon having to interfere. Ravenna's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
